For people requesting SIP images for Cisco phones there's a few link where you can get them here's 2 I found :
http://www.m4tr1xx.de/cisco/ (there's SIP 6.3, 7.0 and 7.1 there)
http://ns.goodgrief.com/voice-comm/ (there's 2.x,3.x and 4.x there but the 4 didn't seem to work for me)
As weird as it might seem you can also find some on eDonkey and Kazaa if you are willing to wait a day or so to download them...
Hope this help

Then to know what file you need to change your Cisco 7960 phone from Skinny to SIP go to this website as it explain how to do it. If it doesn't work let me know I did it 2 weeks ago. You have to start with a SIP image of version 2.0 or 2.1 if you want it to work. Then you can upgrade to 2.2, then 3.x, then 4.x, etc. all the way up to 7.3.
For me I was able to do it that way :
Started with SIP 2.1 then 3.3 then 6.3 and then 7.3. But I had a hard time upgrading from 2.1 to 3.3 as the 3.3 image as more then 8 characters and firmware 2.1 support only 8:3 (8 characters plus 3 characters for the extension)
If you need any help let me know.
