I've got 25 7960s with different mailboxes set for different lines. The MWI indicator (red light) comes on if there are messages in either of the mailboxes. However, on the display, an envelope shows up next to the line that has the voicemail waiting. Therefore I can tell which line has the voicemail.

In my extensions.conf, I have a dial command such as exten => 8900,1,Dial(SIP/89XX-3&SIP/89XX-3&SIP/89XX-3,,). All of the phones ring at the same time. All of the message waiting indicators will light if someone leaves a message and all of them will go out when the the messages are removed.

What does the @ do?
Original Example: exten => 135,1,Dial(SIP/[EMAIL PROTECTED]&SIP/[EMAIL
PROTECTED],20,rt)

The phones light up based on the mailbox entry in the sip.conf

Ie. Our network operations department has 8 phones, and whenever somebody
calls the NOC all 8 ring. Whenever a voicemail gets lit, all 8 lights light
up. Also, all 8 phones have their own individual voicemail, so if somebody
leaves a voicemail in an individual phone, only that phones light gets lit.
It's kind of interesting though to come in and see your light on, you get to
play "lets guess which mailbox the voicemail is in" game. Course you could
cheat and look at your coworkers phone to see if their light is on.

[noc1]
type=friend
username=noc1
secret=somepassword
host=dynamic
canreinvite=no
[EMAIL PROTECTED],[EMAIL PROTECTED]
nat=no
qualify=yes
context=company1
dtmfmode=inband
callerid="NOC Engineer" <252>
accountcode=1
amaflags=omit

So if there's a message in 252, his personal extension, then the light comes
on. If there's a message in 507, the NOC extension, then the light comes on.
I use the @ in the mailbox's due to multiple duplicate mailbox's in
different contexts, it's a shared PBX.

This is interesting because I am doing a very similar thing. I have four Cisco phone, two 7940 and two 7905 and a couple of ata186. An incoming call rings all six phones. There is a single voicemail box that is assicate with every phone. The MWI indicator lights up on all phones when a message is received. It also extiguishes from all phones if the voicemail is deleted from any phone.

Could you describe how you do that! That's exactly what I am trying to do!
