Looks like asterisk is using cURL:
CURLLIBS=$(shell curl-config --libs)
ifneq (${CURLLIBS},)
APPS+=app_curl.so
And cURL uses libidn:
http://curl.netmirror.org/libs.html
So you likely need:
http://mirrors.kernel.org/fedora/core/3/i386/os/Fedora/RPMS/libidn-0.5.6-1.i386.rpm
