This is exactly what I did and I suspect why you are not getting
caller ID either. If you put in a NoOp,${CALLERID} I think you'll find
the Sipura is passing the letter A followed by the username it using
in in sip.conf as the caller id number rather than A followed by the
number of the caller. It seems the Sipura is unable to extract caller
ID from AU phone lines.....On Sat, 5 Feb 2005 19:16:40 +1000, Peter Illmayer <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Eric > > This is what I did... > > http://voxilla.com/forum-viewtopic-t-1335.html > > very clever > > -- > Open WebMail Project (http://openwebmail.org) > > ---------- Original Message ----------- > From: Eric Bishop <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > To: Peter Illmayer <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Sent: Sat, 5 Feb 2005 15:38:47 +1100 > Subject: Re: Fw: [Asterisk-Users] AU caller ID with Sipura SPA-3000 > > > Hi Peter, > > > > The caller number I get into Asterisk is the username that Sipura is > > using to register with Asterisk, not the actual caller ID number of > > the caller.
