Without reaching for a manual, is there a logic test for a context
existence?

If ( context exists )
        Goto that context

?

Yes, that is expected behavior. The "i" extension is used for invalid 
extensions only.

I don't believe that there is a solution for that currently, other than 
to not do it in the first place :-)
