I want to be able to handle E911 from a service provider prospective. Many customers from many different addresses and being able to properly route the 911 call.

Can the Ford F150 handle blue? Neither of the above question makes any sense without additional information. Asterisk supports one of the 6 or so ways a PBX can support E911. If you provide the details of what specific implimentation of E911 you are looking for, I'm sure someone can help you. I handle E911 by not being a cheap bastard and making sure I have at least 1 local telco line at each location I have an Asterisk server. Granted, this is only helpful for people that are at the same street address as the Asterisk server. For the few remote VoIP users, we tell them not to be a cheap bastard and have a local phone line for E911 calls. Granted, I run Asterisk in a business enviroment and not in a service provider enviroment. Perhaps you might consider SEARCHING GOOGLE BEFORE ASKING A QUESTION LIKE THIS? Heck, I'll even give you a basic search to start out with: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=site%3Alists.digium.com+911&btnG=Go ogle+Search _______________________________________________ Asterisk-Users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users _______________________________________________ Asterisk-Users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users
