That's because someone suggested it earlier on the list. So I installed the ztdummy driver. Could you please tell me what is needed to playback sound files?
Nothing. It Just Works.
You call into your Asterisk server, dial the extension for the Playback or Background, or whatever and hear the file being played. Simple. Something ELSE is going on here.
