1. I wonder Asterisk can do this (refer to the following diagram) or not ? (Can I make a call from the SIP phone to the normal phone )
Yes
2. Is the "Asterisk server 2" called the PSTN Gateway ?
Yes
3. What are the hardware that I need to do that ?
A FXO board or gateway at "Asterisk server 2" if you like to be connected to the PSTN network or/and,
A FXS board or gateway at "Asterisk server 2" if you like to be connected to a regular phone
