News groups generally get dragged down into uselessness
Note that the Asterisk lists are gateway'd into the gmane server:
<http://news.gmane.org/gmane.comp.telephony.pbx.asterisk.user>
You can read it either in web or newsgroup form. I tried posting from there but it looks like the gateway for this list might be one-way.
