Thanks all ! I've managed to get it working using the smsq application.

syntax was

smsq --motx-channel=ZAP/r3/17094009 --motx-callerid=123456 --queue 123456 --da 00000 --ud reset

where 123456 is the DDI I wanted to use, and ZAP/r3 is my ISDN trunk.

Julian.

Has anyone had any luck with being able to register a DDI with SMS in the UK ? If so, how have you done it ?

Anything I send to 00000 with a "reset" message gets sent back to my main ISDN number, even though I have specified a callerid within my
DDI range.

I did it using 'smsq --queue 586671 00000 register' iirc. Certainly I've
had both incoming and outgoing calls working on more than just the
network number. At the moment they're _all_ on a DDI number, because
I've switched to using CAPI and it's using that number for all outgoing
calls.
