My 2c is to re-title the petition to include IAX2 support in all ATA's/phones. Why target sipura? What happened to snom who at one stage had a IAX (version 1) firmware? Why not target polycom/cisco, or any of the other 100 manufacturers/resellers/re-badging companies??
