I know there are work-arounds for this, but I'm going to ask anyway.

I'm looking for a way to automatically failover a TDM422B (2FXO, 2FXS)
when the power dies.

This is again for a rather paranoid client.

Options so far:
- I will be installing a redundant power box in the server with a UPS.
- Wire the FXO to a double-throw switch by hand so if power dies the
client can just flick the switch over from the Asterisk box to the
analogue phone.

I know the Sipura-3000 will automatically do this, but obviously a
computer cannot set this up on the PCI card with it's last dying gasp for
power.

Is there any other way this can be done - especially if the box sits in a
room in the basement which is not easily accessible during a power cut, so
the customer doesn't really want to go down there to flick the switch
"override"

Appreciate your help.

Mike
