800 numbers are free to the caller because the recipient pays the charge.

Voipjet has no way to get paid anything for carrying the calls, hence they are unwilling to use their resources to move calls with no revenue.

Can you blame them? :)

I don't understand - I thought all 1800 numbers were free?
