>They ask me: "Who is using Asterisk as its base PABX!?" We are. $200m in revenues last year. We are in the process of abandoning our Mitel ICP3300 because the price / performance ratio of Asterisk makes it a no brainer. The Mitel stuff doesn't even come close. So far, the transition has been transparent to our endusers, and they are delighted with the little things like MeetMe and voicemail-to-email. Only niggle so far which is a legit complaint is CID Name from a PRI, but the number is fine. Overall, Asterisk has (so far) solved so many problems for us and as a result we are getting inquiries from some of our business partners on how we implemented it because they have the same problems, too.
Granted, we aren't even close to a Fortune 500, but $200m in revenues is nothing to sneeze at. _______________________________________________ Asterisk-Users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users
