I have been using asterisk for a couple of weeks now, to support some Cisco 7960 and 7920 phones, and have been enjoying the learning experience. I have gotten the phone firmware upgraded, Broadvoice connectivity, basic dial plan, and voice mail working. However I am sure that there is more that I can do.
So my question, what is the best feature of Asterisk, and how have you deployed it in your organization? What trick configuration have you come up with to do something really out of the box cool? If you can document it with come configuration samples, so much the better.
