The basic idea is to either:
1) Have 'autoload=yes' in your modules.conf, then use 'noload' to indicate modules not to load, or
2) Have 'autoload=no' in your modules.conf, then use 'load' to indicate which modules you need.
The Wiki page has an example of each.
