I bought two sipura 841 phones. I used to have GN Netcom headset which I connect instead of the handset. The problem is that I don't have any sound coming out the headset and I can't speak neither !
I'am located in France and I was wondering if the cabling in the sipura and in the headset is the same (I mean the order of the cables) or maybe is there something else to do ?
Handset wiring IS non-standard which is why most headset devices have a set of configuration switches or dials to adapt the unit to different phones. My Netcom headset (8120) has a little wheel on the base unit which one rotates until one get audio in both directions.
Would it be too obvious to suggest visiting GN's website for configuration information on your specific model?
