Are you running a 2.4 kernel or a 2.6 kernel? Use a 2.6 kernel and you won't have these problems. If that's not an option for you, then you may be stuck. :-/
You may want to look at app_conference instead as it doesn't require ztdummy for boxes that don't have any zaptel hardware in them.
