Hi,

That is interesting. What is the make and the model that you are
referring to? Is there a website with more info?

As for the models, we sell them as OEM. You may contact me offlist if
interested. Better priced and more powerful than existing devises out there.

I am not interested in the immediate future (because I have gone with Quescom), but I might be in the future. It would be nice to have some reference document with the gateway capabilities and maybe some "magnitude" of pricing (you were saying $400, which I think is quite good already for single channel IP GSM gateway).

Also, are the antennas deportable? This kind of thing is crucial when you don't get good rx/tx within a building (mostly concrete and / or metal sheets for roofing where I live).

Quescomm, are good but have drawback. 12 SIMs model you need to unscrew to
change the SIMs.

Your information must be outdated. There are plastic slots you can pull out by pressing a button with a pin or a pen. No need to unscrew anything. And the deportable antennas are just nice.

The only real problem I have with it is the choice of using windows NT embedded rather than a unix base, it makes working on the command line a real pain. Also the webby tools are just useless. I'd rather see a product with a good, solid unix based system and a set of useful, scriptable command line tools.

And if it was asterisk based, that would be like wow :)

This is not very practical. I recommand other brands like
Vierling, who are more practical in everyday life of a corporate grade carrier
devise.

Didn't know them either! I'll take a look...
