Is the "window" an X window?

If so, using key bindings will allow the numeric keypad on a regular keyboard to be used relatively the same as a telco keypad.

This is how I use XLite.

The only thing missing is the '#' key, and it would be easy enough to map that to, say, the '/'.

One possible way, perhaps.
