But when watching from the SIP client's local LAN (another computer on the subnet, in promisc mode, running tcpdump), the RFC2833 packets (length 16) never arrive.
Hmmm. Do you get other UDP packets of the same size through? Are the packet headers similar? Is there anyway you can put a box in front of the firewall/in a dmz?
