Yeah, It's a fairly common problem with that firmware, I think someone
attributed it to a memory leak. It seems to have a lot to do with how many
times a transfer is performed on the phone, so maybe that's why you've not
seen it before. Upgrade to at least 1.4.1 and you'll see the problem go away.
