LOL - Well, I think we all know a little more about DSL and T1 now at least....

T1 = 24 8-bit channels + 1 frame bit sent 8000 times a second. 24*8 = 192+1 = 193 bits sent 8000 times a second = 1544000bps. Now you don't get to play with the frame bit: 24*8 = 192 * 8000 = 1536000bps, which is the payload data rate of a T1. I won't get into the RBS signaling and framing but you get the idea. -A. _______________________________________________ Asterisk-Users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users _______________________________________________ Asterisk-Users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users _______________________________________________ Asterisk-Users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users
