I have the same problem and am seeking for few weeks for a suitable solution... Does this "hint" work as a presence agent and sending notifies? Does IM work with asterisk? I would really like to support presence in Asterisk with Eyebeam as a client. SIP Express Router has this ability, but it's not a good choice either. Maybe it would be possible to port this feature from SER?
