Hi Klaus,

Diastar acts as either a gateway (PSTN <--> Diastar/Woomera/RTP <-> Asterisk) 
or as a media server (Diastar SIP/Video/Video Conferencing/Woomera/RTP <-> 
Asterisk)  In both cases, the application flow is determined by the Asterisk 
dialplan, using standard asterisk commands.

A Diastar client does not necessarily have to be Asterisk - any client that can 
speak Woomera will work.  But something has to tell the server what to do.
