Hello again,
After some more reading regarding voicemail problem, i realized that
this problem is also faced in voice calls when someone wants to ring his
desk phone and mobile phone at the same time when receiving a call.
It appears that "followme" requires the recipient to press 1 in order
to accept the call. Voicemails cannot press 1 hence it is known when a
call goes to voicemail.
It seems that there is no solution to this problem.... unless someone
else has another idea
