I spent years as a mechanic, so for me things have a very real side, I need to understand the 'so how does that plug in?' level right up to the 'oh I see, that sounds like vlan tagging!' concepts or I can't work!! Not sure if that's good or bad. The company I work for has provided some(tm) information in the form of, 30 lines - coming in .. the telco calls them Centrex, the pbx is as old as you and is in that room (did they have pbx 42 years ago?) ... What exactly am I doing with Centrex? don't know until I understand how it works better. I want as in previous emails, multi company, wth queues, voicemail etc .. the whole nine yards. I have set up the base demo a la IP phone, soft phone, sip converter and so on and now I am down to planning what I need to plug in these lines and partition companies based on that. If I sound desperate, it's getting information and documentation from Telcos not the Asterisk end. I will keep this list up to date on my adventures as they progress! Cheers rm
