Yes Mike,
Well... Ubuntu in fact is Debian... at least at its core... and Debian is
Linux... at its core. So all compatible FXO will work with Ubuntu & there
are no issues what so ever (with regards to installation)... at least none
that I faced, installing an "compatible" FXO.
If you try to install a non-compatible or different chipset FXO (1 line
X100P), like Jim said... you may want to engage in a head banging ritual
and make sure you have some beer with you... as that is the anesthetic :).
