afaik, you need ABE to use the dialogic drivers and even then there is a per
DSO charge to use the channel drivers. And unlike the the g729 codec theres
no source code to bootleg here. if its compatible with the linux driver for
D/480-JCT then it will support asterisk just fine but you wont be able to
take advantage of the call logging, recording or monitoring features of the
firmware.

You might consider using bayonne, it takes more advantage of the hmp intel
architecture and the dsps on board. Or you can throw it away and buy a
Sangoma card which although doesnt have all those features built into the
card is actually better as far as echo can. goes ;). Just the cost of abe
and the driver will make up for the price of throwing it away and using open
source asterisk. Im saying this from personal experience.
