Unfortunately I missed the first half of the TAUG meeting, but I found the
second half extremely dry. When I arrived it was standing room only, quite a
few people left though, during that second half. Personally I would have
liked to hear about more mini projects, interesting things you can do with
your Asterisk system, much like the tidbits you'll find on Nerd Vittles.

Subject: [on-asterisk] Let VON know what you think

Hi All,

The people behind VON are very interested in hearing our thoughts on the
show. This is our opportunity to help shape future shows -- so be
brutally honest about what you liked, disliked, what you think could be
improved upon, and what was missing that would have made the show more
relevant to you.

They'd also like to hear your feedback on the TAUG meeting itself,
including what you thought of the format, whether it was a good idea to
incorporate it into the VON program, etc. One of our goals in working
with VON is to get people in other cities thinking about starting their
own AUG's, and it would be great to see VON encourage their growth.

Jon Arnold, an independent consultant based here in Toronto, and the
fellow who got us our booth space and arranged for our meeting will be
taking our comments and sharing the high level feedback with the VON
folks without identifying anyone by name. So, open up, and send your
comments to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the subject "TAUG feedback".
If you feel the need to be extra-anonymous, you can also send your
comments via me.

Cheers,
Simon P. Ditner
