Nabeel,
We're also a Reseller, and I called tier 2 support directly (I didn't
get the tech's name though..) The tech that I spoke with said that there
wasn't an option to serve VLAN's over DHCP, then he put me on hold.
He came back a few minutes later and said that it was possible, but
there wasn't much information about how to do it. He said that it may be
related to a dhcp option, and that it may be option 66, (but that
strictly deals with boot server.)
As I mentioned, I will send in a feature request about these two issues
and see what happens.
Getting FTP and VLAN off of DHCP would be great, there is a bit of
chicken and egg problem with getting the VLAN off of DHCP (How do you
contact the DHCP if it's on another VLAN) but by using Andrews Match
statement should be possible.
I'll call Polycom again because I still haven't seen the feature request
form.
Chad

I spoke to Polycom Reseller Support and they said there is no such DHCP
option.
