I agree.  The readability of the list would deteriorate pretty quickly.

If Simon's list mailer doesn't support that 'bounce with reason based on
subject' option, maybe it would help to set the from, reply, ... addresses
to something like 'asterisk-bounce at uc dot org'.  That way users just hit
reply would get an info message.  It's not nearly as good as Leif's
suggestion but it would help as a fallback.
