Looks like a NAT traversal problem but need some trace to pinpoint...

Chuck, when you say you can not get incoming calls, I assume the SIP
messages could not get through not just RTP. So, if you use Ethereal to
catch the SIP messages, you can see what IP address in the INVITE
request header and get a clue why the messages could not get through the
firewall.

Sorry, I did not send this, guess I should have... I have a static
external IP address going through a Monowall (FreeBSD) firewall...

This is my sip_nat.conf file (I've changed my ip's to protect the
innocent...

externip=222.222.222.100

Localnet=10.10.10.0/255.255.255.0

NAT=Yes, true, y, t, 1, on

externrefresh=10

Here is my sip.conf

[general]

context=default

bindport=5060 ; UDP Port to bind to (SIP
standard port is 5060)

port=5060

bindaddr=0.0.0.0 ; IP address to bind to (0.0.0.0
binds to all)

maxexpirey=3600

defaultexpirey=3600

notifymimetype=text/plain

rtptimeout=60

rtpholdtimeout=300

disallow=all

allow=ulaw

Callerid = Unknown

I actually had to call Stephan at unlimitel with the same problem when I
setup about a year ago. I felt like a real dolt, I found the externip
setting and I put my IP address there but I forgot to remove the
semicolon at the beginning of the line so it was commented out. DOH!!

When he told me my client was registering as a 192.168.x.y address I
said "that's not possible, I used the externip setting right here...
never mind"

I thought I'd share this funny story, I guess I've just got too much
pride to admit it on the list :)

It is probably something stupid I am doing... The [EMAIL PROTECTED] server
is behind the firewall, I have opened TCP/UDP 5004-5082 and USP
