Yes,...is the short answer.
There was a long exchange of ideas some months ago on this very subject.
As I remember, it would only work with "Busy" C/F and Bell didn't offer
that service (I wonder why)
However , I think Sprint (Rogers) can do this.
But the "proof is in the pudding"
Someone out there must have a bell line with C/F
and a local DID connected to an *Asterisk box
Find four of your favourite girl friends to make a call to the bell
number and see what happens..
If you can conference them all together without "smoking" the local
exchange then I would say
we have stress tested the theory and have a winner!

Hello all
If I call-forward my business line 555-1111 to 555-2222 and several
calls are immediatelly made to 555-1111, will they ALL be forwarded to
555-2222?
Bell Canada assures me that this is true, but somehow I'm sceptical.
If that's really the case, it would seem to be a cost-saving piece of
advice to people who need to have multiple lines available for incoming
calls. ie: if you have (say) an Unlimitel number which supports several
virtual circuits, you can call-forward your single PSTN number to that
Unlimitel number.
