Hello Simon:

Isn't this possible writing your own AGI scripts etc?  I've been writing 
scripts heavily to suffice my selfish needs & perhaps I will make all of them 
open source as time goes on.  Though I love the idea of working closely with 
the source codes, isn't writing apps via AGI & your preferred programming 
language, more productive?  

Technically all my "wish list" could be incorporated into AGI scripts...  but I 
definitely see tremendous benefits if those "wish list" were incorporated 
within the Asterisk binaries as dial plan functions/commands.  Is this what you 
are trying to do versus calling AGI scripts?

Would love to hear your thoughts!
