Simon,

Thanks for the feedback.

I have had some problem with [email protected] as emails bounce back after 1 month and some msgs don't even get to my mail box. I don't know why. Anyhow, I think I am going to resend )this msg (or maybe I just sent it to Simon last time).

Back to one way audio problem:

I have changed D-Link router to a speedystream (Bell Canada router/DSL modem) and again put the asterisk (Trixbox) in DMZ. UDP Ports 5060-5082, and 10000-20000 are also forwarded to trixbox. However, the problem still exists and incoming calls can not hear me. I can hear them and outgoing calls work perfectly.

Yes, I did test that locally but notice that I did not just try two vbuzzer clients to call each other and rather I called the vbuzzer trunk which is defined in Trixbox. In other words, my 2nd vbuzzer account was using vbuzzer client to call my 1st vbuzzer DID (416273xxxx) which is defined as a trunk in Trixbox.

Would a "sip debug peer" help if I post it here?

Is there any other tool I can use to test for both way audio?

Thanks,

Bruce

I've had the same problem with older D-Link's, and Linksys routers. It
defied all firewall/NAT logic.

Did you do that locally? If so, your vbuzzer clients may have been
intelligent enough to do re-invites and talk to each other directly.
