Dave,

You could try using Voxee to send your calls. They have good rates, and will
allow you to set your callerid to whatever you want.

I have everything setup for my "ideal" PBX with one exception.

I would like to forward calls to my mobile and see the incoming caller ID.
I am considering two possible scenarios,

Scenario 1.

If I forward calls via a hook flash/link transfer on PSTN line the caller
ID shown on the mobile it the caller ID of the PSTN line not the incoming
call on the PSTN line.

Apparently, it is not possible to set the CallerID on my PSTN line so it
would seem that there is nothing I can do on the Asterisk side.

The alternative is multiple PSTN lines. With multiple lines I could
forward an incoming call on my PSTN line to an outgoing PSTN line.

The problem here is I do not have multiple lines available and don't want
to pay for them if the forwarding be between lines does not maintain the
incoming caller ID.

Can anyone confirm if this is the case?

Scenario 2

I understand some SIP providers allow caller ID spoofing. This would solve
all my problems and I would leap at this solution. Unfortunately there are
no Asterisk compatible SIP providers in St. Catharines, Ontario. Unlimitel
says they may have service available sometime in 2007. To the best of my
knowledge the only VOIP providers in the Niagara Region are Vonage, Primus
and soon Cogeco and I don't expect any of these to work with Asterisk.

Thanks in advance for any advice.
