Hello fellow TAUG members, If you have not heard, TAUG has a podcast. Simon, Alex, and myself have been working on getting every meeting recorded since April 2006 and getting things organized. We launched in April during the time we were at VON but things have been busy since then. If you have not seen the podcast yet the first episode we released was a talk by Jim Van Meggelen on VoIP Enabling a Legacy PBX.
Well one thing led to another and it's July but we do have a new episode/download for everyone. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- TAUG meeting at VON (Voice on the Net) April 2006. Speakers: Jeff Pulver, Jim Van Meggelen, Simon P. Ditner, Claude Patry, iotum.com, and John Van Ostrand. Topics: * Jeff Pulver, Quick Introduction and Hello * Jim Van Meggelen, Master of Ceremonies * Simon P. Ditner, About AUG's and the free exchange of ideas * Claude Patry, VoiceChanger and French Canadian voice prompts * iotum.com, Presence management software * John Van Ostrand, AGI Programming with PHP Running time: 1:18:07 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We also have a new homepage/website. From now on the official TAUG podcast website is located at http://podcast.taug.ca There you will find downloads of our latest shows. Including the original slides in powerpoint and/or openoffice format. You may also download the mp3 audio only version of the podcast. I recommend you do give iTunes a try if you are not using it already. We produce what is known as a enhanced podcast. It comes with the slides (in sync) so you can watch it as if you were there. Available for Windows and Mac, the software is free, as is the subscription to the TAUG Podcast. Upcoming releases include LinuxWorld, Sangoma, and OpenWRT. Hopefully we will see releases on a more consistent basis soon. The TAUG Podcast crew still needs some help, if you wish to offer your services please email me. We are looking for a flash developer and anyone else that can/wants help. Blaine Aldridge
