Another possibility is that the remote maybe also using *, it is possible perhaps their menu isn't being played in the background (Play instead of Background), that way your digits are of no use until the 'Play' finishes > I also noticed my Music on hold is not clear but rather choppy, didn't have > time to troubleshoot > yet... but maybe the 2 are releated?
