Hi Terry, Some more details are required before we can give you some useful information.
What setup do you have? Are you using Trixbox or just regular Asterisk? Is the phone going to be on the same LAN as the Asterisk box or will the phone be somewhere on the internet? IAX will get through firewalls pretty well so it's a good protocol for internet based phones. There are lots of people in the group who have configured IAX phones. If you're looking for paid help with your solution, I'd suggest you post to the [EMAIL PROTECTED] and you'll get responses from consultants who can help you. If you want to do it on your own but need a bit of help, then feel free to post question here. You should do some research first by looking at sites like voip-info.org and nerdvittles.com.
