Here is a quick question for you fellow * users. I'm lost so any input is appreciated! a.. In my voicemail file I do have operator=yes enabled. b.. I also have a dial plan where exten => o as in oscar within the context. c.. I have no problem having the call dial a particular extension when someone presses 0 as in zero, during a voicemail greeting. The question is: 1. Is there anyway to change the 0 as in zero, to a different digit? 2. Is there any way to have some sort of feature to dial exten within voicemail?
Purpose: The target is quite simple. We have IVR/Auto-Attendant. Well, to be technically correct, we have "Auto Attendant". I would personally like to have the ability to punch in an extension number while the voice message greeting is being played. Workaround: The current workaround (Band-Aid solution) I am not fond of. It is where the: a.. recorded voice greeting is played as a separate file. b.. Digit Response Time Out is set to certain seconds to wait for input. c.. then kicks into the actual voice mail. d.. -- I don't like this work around!!! e.. -- I want to do things the right way! Please let me know if there is a way. Cheers!
