Hi Bernie,

What mode are you sending DTMF in? Check for "dtmfmode=???" in your
sip.conf file. I've had some ATAs that require dtmfmode=inband to work,
and others that require dtmfmode=rfc2833. Other options are "info" and
"auto", though I've heard rumblings that neither really works that well.
Try experimenting with dtmfmode and see if that fixes the issue for you.

Alex

Subject: [on-asterisk] SIP phone VM issue GNET

Hi

I have the GNET VP104S sip phone everything with this phone works great
except when I try to retrieve my VM or send any commands to the asterisk

server.
The phone does not allow me to pass account or password information to
the
PBX. I can hear the tones being generated but the otherside does not.
Any
ideas.

Also I have the newer firmware that allows me to do IAX and it works
fine.
But I need the SIP. I have x-lite softphones and they work fine.

Any one else had this issue

Cheers
Bernie
