That's a pretty high gain setting. Any reason not to leave them at 0.0?

Hi Stephan,

It's at rxgain=6.0 and txgain=4.0 the funny thing is it worked fine for a
few months only started happening yesterday out of the blue. When I hear
ringing it is really bad, then when I am speaking to a person it is bad but
not as distorted as when it was first ringing. Still enough that it is hard
to hear and understand each other. Also I am using Aastra 480i

Thanks

How hi are your gains settings in zapata.conf? Sounds like distortion with
audio levels being too high.

Subject: [on-asterisk] static noise on asterisk

Hi Guys,

yesterday all of a sudden I started to hear static noise on my asterisk box.
Whenever I make an outbound call using voip i hear static. Inbound through
voip or bell (Sangoma A200 card with echo can) and its okay. Any ideas why
this is happening or how to go about fixing the issue?

Thanks
