That's a pretty high gain setting. Any reason not to leave them at 0.0?

When I hear ringing it is really bad, then when I am speaking to a person it is bad but not as distorted as when it was first ringing. Still enough that it is hard to hear and understand each other. Also I am using Aastra 480i Thanks -- Jag Basrai _____ From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: [on-asterisk] static noise on asterisk Date: Wed, 27 Sep 2006 14:26:22 -0400 How hi are your gains settings in zapata.conf? Sounds like distortion with audio levels being too high. Stephan Monette Unlimitel inc. Whenever I make an outbound call using voip i hear static. Inbound through voip or bell (Sangoma A200 card with echo can) and its okay. Any ideas why this is happening or how to go about fixing the issue? Thanks -- Jag Basrai _____ Be one of the first to try Windows Live Mail.
