I noticed that Digium has a new server appliance out with configurable 
FXS/FXO ports.  Not enough ports for our message service project, but still 
a nice looking box.  I've checked into the OpenBrick also, which is also a 
neat option as a server.  I guess that's why I had the "brick" concept in mind. 
 
I was just wondering if customers prefer solid state phone switches.
