Hello, I seem to have a little problem setting up a faxmachine as an extension.
The following is the setup: Asterisk server, VOIP line and a Bell landline connected through a Sipura 3102. The fax machine is on an extension handled by a Handytone 286. Whenever I am trying to send a fax - or as matter of fact to receive one, the communication cannot be established for some reason. I tried the followings: Both Handytone and the Sipura are using the same protocol, fax through is enabled on both. I tried changing protocols, setting the gain higher but no luck. Also I set the system default fax to be directed to the extension of the fax machine, and detection is set to NVFax. Is there anything else you may think of that could cause this problem? It seems that something somewhere is not allowing the two devices to get in touch. Thanks, Zoltan.
