The trick is to set up a special exten in asterisk that auto-answers. This
prevents you from having to answer your phone before it dials out.

I am generally reluctant to plug things, but this app really cranks me up.
It is simple and effective, and the price is right. If you use Windows, this
is a killer app to augment your asterisk system with.
