I know some people do this using the postfix relayhost settings (this is
the same as sendmail's "smarthost"). Your postfix needs to have TLS and
SASL enabled. Eg:

I think postfix can relay via gmail as your upstream "smarthost" mail
server as well. You authenticate using your gmail settings to a relayhost
at smtp.gmail.com and port 587 I believe. Not sure if Rogers blocks that
port or no ....
