Dear Fellow Toronto Asterisk enthusiasts:
It is incredible how this tool has progressed since 2001. I'm enjoying
it very much. May I dare say, for a techi-type, it is even easy to use
for home use!
I have an unexplained behavior that I don't see discussion of on the web
or anywhere else. In this situation, I have an SPA-3000 SIP device at
home with Unlimitel AIX service over a ADSL connection to the Internet.
Every once in a while, it could be after a few days or a few weeks,
Asterisk goes 'crazy' and starts sending a flood of packets out over the
Internet and returning the same message you see below. Asterisk is
still responsive to the commands line (and I presume handling other
calls) so all I have to do is issue a 'stop now' and restart Asterisk
and everything is OK again.
Any body else experience this? I've tried to re-create the event in a
predictable way by breaking the connection with Unlimitel but I have
been unsuccessful at that.
A snippet of the output:

PS: I'm worried, at some point, I may upset the folks at Unlimitel but
they have not said anything yet.
PPS: I'm wondering if either my machine (or one of theirs) has an IP
change that makes Asterisk panic.
