Chuck Mariotti, Co-Founder & CTO of CareerDoor (www.careerdoor.com) had invited
me to give a presentation at a career fair, on emerging VoIP technologies at
the career fair that will be held in Thornhill:

Thornhill, Ontario
November 15th & 16th from 11am-7pm
I will be speaking about how to upgrade your telecom infrastructure using Open
Source PBX, and in this particular case using Asterisk. Henry will be
assisting me to give the presentation and a booth has been generously donated
to us. Not only will I be talking about Asterisk, but also will be
representing & introducing TAUG, as a collective.
Though the presentation is not going to be very technical, I believe those of
you who are seeking opportunities, the conference may be of benefit as there
will be hiring managers actively interviewing and hiring people. There are
other workshops & presentations that may benefit you.
My presentation is between 2:00 - 3:00 PM and then for an hour or two I will be
manning the booth. Henry will be assisting me. And of course, volunteers are
always welcome! If you wish to volunteer, please contact me off list.
