Note the meeting is TONIGHT. Again, difficulty getting space on our
regular day.

This month we're being joined by Nenad Corbic, Chief Software Engineer of
Sangoma. He will be speaking on optimizing and enhancing open PBX TDM
architecture for scalable, high availability systems.

"The new breed of Open PBXs/Switches such as Asterisk, FreeSwitch, Yate,
etc.. are pushing the boundaries of Open Source Telephony. In this talk
Nenad will discuss current limitations of Open PBX TDM architecture and
offer solutions used to overcome the TDM bottleneck in order to support
scalable, high capacity media gateway applications. This talk will
address low level TDM driver issues in attempt to optimize the hardware
performance, discuss kernel to user space optimizations necessary to
support large number of TDM calls, as well as high level modules that
promise to expand the Open PBX into a scalable multi-system architecture.
With the market constantly pushing the limits of Open PBX architectures
for more and more capacity the existing models and architectures need to
adapt to meed the demand."
